Breath our scents, walk our landscape, hear our melodic dialects, delight in our savory morsels, touch each rich texture, and the southern essence remains a mystery. The ethereal south, unfathomable to the five senses, lives in the heart. If you believe in magic, and can survive the devastating passions of an open heart, just possibly, you stand a chance of living a moment as a southerner. Most people aren't brave enough to be southerners, even the ones that are.

Question, Query, and Quandary: “Q” Words That Lead To A Beautiful “R” Word

I think it goes without saying, but I’ll say it anyway, that life presents us questions sometimes that develop into queries. A query, as I can best ascertain, is a tad more complex than a simple question. A query can become an entire line of questions or a single question with multiple conditions.

A quandary requires deep deliberation to resolve if it is resolvable at all. A quandary best resembles a puzzle. It is more often than not unpleasant, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be. I suppose too much of a good thing can present a quandary, but then, that’s a good thing gone bad, which is no longer a good thing to the recipient.

I made a query of the words question, query, and quandary, and only found good information on question and query. Not finding good information on quandary after I had started this post left me somewhat in a quandary. What should I do? Try to finish this post that started out with what seemed a good idea to develop into a brief post, or just toss the thing and go on to find another angle. Trying to find decent “q” words had been a quandary for me. It has, ashamedly, taken me weeks to come up with this idea. I really don’t want to start over. Do you fully understand the quandary this leaves me in? Do I delay an updated post to the blog even further than its already impolite, near abandoned, state, or just go with what I have? Of course as you can see, I decided to roll with it.

Admittedly, this is a lame post that doesn’t do the chosen “q” words justice. But, when you’re trying to serve the entire alphabet, someone’s probably going to get shorted. “Q” is probably used to it. If not, then this can serve as a life lesson to “q”. Life ain’t fair, so just get on with it, fair or not.

Whew! I’m glad this thing is done with and my life and the blog can move on. The quandary that “q” presented is resolved; not handsomely, but resolved no less. And, when something is resolved, that’s a beautiful thing. Be it question, query or quandary; resolution is a beautiful thing. What an “r” word! I'm glad this is done. It near made me pull all of my hair out...

Have a nice day. I have other plans, but that's another post.
